What We Believe

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.

We believe that there is one God comprised of three separate and distinct persons:  God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit who are eternally self-existent and function as one.

We believe that man was created good and upright.  But man, by voluntary sinning, fell and his/her only hope of redemption (forgiveness) is in Jesus Christ.

We believe that man's only hope is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.  On the cross Jesus (who is God's Son) became sin providing salvation for all mankind (2 Peter 3: 9).  After His death on the cross, He was raised from the dead, victorious over sin and the grave.

We believe in baptism by immersion and it should be observed, according to Scripture, by all who have accepted Christ as Savior.

We believe in The Lord's Supper (communion).  Communion is the taking of bread, representing the broken body of Christ, and juice, representing His shed blood.
